Our top 200 law firm client is looking for a new Head of IP to join them for an initial 6 month period.
This IP/Commercial Lawyer role offers a varied, non-litigious workload across multiple sectors as the team potentially looks to specialise in certain sectors over time.
The successful lawyer will work closely with a small team: currently one solicitor, a portfolio manager, and an admin/PA. You will handle both IP advisory and commercial contract matters and the role is ideal for someone proactive who wants to get involved and help shape the direction of the practice.
Ideal skills and experience you will have:
- This role requires strong skills in IP advisory and commercial contract drafting, along with the ability to work across varied sectors and adapt to client needs.
- A proactive mindset, and a collaborative approach are key to contributing to a small team and shaping the practice’s future direction.
This assignment can be full time or part-time, initially working 2 days a week from their Leeds office. Office presence will reduce and is flexible.
If this sounds like you and you're looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
