Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a boutique law firm in seeking a Litigation Attorney to join their team on a temporary, 5–6 month engagement. This is a fully remote opportunity supporting sophisticated commercial litigation and arbitration matters.

Role Details
  • Start: ASAP
  • Duration: 5–6 months
  • Location: Fully remote
  • Hours: 30–40 hours per week
  • Pay Rate: Starting at $85/hour, commensurate with experience

Position Overview
The firm is seeking a mid-level commercial litigation attorney with strong research and writing skills to support a team handling complex litigation and arbitration matters. The ideal candidate will have experience managing day-to-day litigation responsibilities in a fast-paced law firm environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support litigation and arbitration matters from inception through resolution
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, pleadings, demand letters, and related filings
  • Assist with litigation strategy and case development
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys on active commercial disputes
  • Support matters involving trademark, copyright, and IP-related commercial disputes, as applicable

Qualifications
  • Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing
  • Approximately 4–6+ years of commercial litigation experience
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills are essential
  • Experience at an Am Law 200 firm or reputable litigation boutique strongly preferred
  • Background in the Northeast legal market preferred, though New York admission is not required
  • Experience representing creatives, entrepreneurs, or handling IP-related commercial disputes is a plus
