We're working with a leading global investment bank and financial services provider, with a strong European heritage and a global presence across more than 50 countries. The bank delivers services across investment banking, corporate banking, asset management and private banking, supporting clients with complex financial and strategic needs. It is widely recognised for its expertise in capital markets, financing and risk management solutions.
This role sits within the Legal Origination and Advisory Germany team, supporting the investment bank on M&A and capital markets transactions. This is a really exciting opportunity to work at the heart of the investment banking business.
What will the role involve?
• Advising on the structuring, preparation and execution of equity and debt transactions
• Supporting M&A deals from a legal perspective
• Drafting and negotiating key documentation including NDAs, mandate agreements and indemnities
• Providing advice on corporate and securities law
• Working closely with bankers and other internal stakeholders on live transactions
• Managing multiple projects and timelines in a fast paced environment
• Supporting regulatory and governance requirements across transactions
What skills are required?
• Qualified German lawyer
• 2 plus PQE in capital markets and or corporate law
• Strong drafting and analytical capability
• Fluency in German and English
• Ability to handle multiple projects
