We're working with a leading global investment bank and financial services provider, with a strong European heritage and a global presence across more than 50 countries. The bank delivers services across investment banking, corporate banking, asset management and private banking, supporting clients with complex financial and strategic needs. It is widely recognised for its expertise in capital markets, financing and risk management solutions.
 
This role sits within the Sales and Trading legal team, supporting front office trading desks across multiple asset classes. It’s an exciting opportunity to work closely with revenue generating trading desks.

The role will involve:

• Advising on legal, regulatory and transactional matters across derivatives products
• Supporting fixed income, FX, commodities and related trading activity
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating trading documentation including confirmations and term sheets
• Providing real time legal support to front office stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Assisting with bespoke and complex trading documentation
• Supporting the team on day to day queries and ongoing transactional work

 
What skills are required?

• Experience in trading, derivatives or financial markets
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Commercial awareness
• Legal counsel or experienced paralegal considered
