Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is partnering with a dynamic intellectual property organization to recruit an Commercial Contracts Attorney. This is a remote contract role.
Position Details
  • Start Date: Early August
  • Duration: Indefinitely
  • Hours: Full-time
  • Location: Remote
  • Compensation: $65-75/hr, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including client MSAs, vendor agreements, NDAs, and licensing/procurement deals.
  • Assist in contract lifecycle management, including tracking key terms, obligations, and renewals.
  • Support the proposal and RFP process with timely input on contractual and risk-related matters.
  • Assist with the implementation and monitoring of internal policies on data privacy, anti-bribery, competition, and third-party risk.
  • Conduct periodic audits and reviews to support compliance with global standards (GDPR, CCPA, UK Bribery Act, FCPA, etc.).
  • Manage and refine internal training materials and compliance documentation.
  • Conduct legal research and provide support on ad hoc matters, including corporate filings and IP issues.
  • Liaise with external counsel in the U.S., UK, and other jurisdictions on compliance and contract-related issues.
  • Maintain and organize legal templates and knowledge management tools.
Candidate Requirements
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house environment
  • Strong drafting and negotiating skills, particularly with commercial contracts
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance topics such as data privacy, anti-bribery, or competition
  • Experience with legal research, project coordination and cross-functional collaboration
  • Licensed to practice law in a US jurisdiction, active and in good standing
