Who are we looking for?
We're currently partnering with a top-tier law firm seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join its team on an interim basis for an initial 3-6 month engagement.
This opportunity will see you working closely with a high-performing commercial legal team, supporting a significant volume of contracting and procurement-related work. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience across commercial agreements, tender processes and procurement matters, and be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
About the Role
Review, draft and negotiate a broad range of client agreements
Support tender and bid review processes across the business
Advise on procurement-related matters and contractual arrangements
Review and negotiate confidentiality agreements (NDAs)
Provide general commercial contracting support to key stakeholders
Work closely with senior lawyers and business teams to deliver practical, commercially focused advice
Assist in identifying and managing contractual and commercial risks
Contribute to the delivery of high-quality legal services across a varied portfolio of matters
About You
You will be an experienced commercial lawyer who enjoys working on complex commercial matters and can quickly integrate into an established legal team.
You will:
Have 5-10 years' PQE, ideally operating at Senior Associate level
Possess significant experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
Have experience supporting tender, bid and procurement processes
Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and the ability to provide pragmatic legal advice
Be capable of managing multiple matters and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Be comfortable working autonomously while collaborating effectively with broader teams
Thrive in a dynamic environment and be able to hit the ground running
Be available to commit to a full-time engagement of approximately 3-6 months
