Who are we looking for?
We're working on a career enhancing assignment with a leading national mid-tier law firm for a Senior Litigation Lawyer to join us and kick-start their LOD career with this assignment.

This assignment will see you supporting a specialist insurance practice, acting for insurers, freight forwarders, corporations and government authorities in shipping, marine, aviation, road, rail and trade related litigation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing files and advising clients on policy interpretation, coverage disputes and liability assessments

• Managing claims arising from transport and logistics operations

• Preparing court documents, including pleadings, statements of evidence and other litigation materials

• Drafting correspondence and liaising with clients, counsel and other practitioners

• Appearing before courts and tribunals where appropriate

To join us, you will:

• Have at least 4 years PQE ideally gained from top or mid-tier law firms or in-house (with strong legal training) 

• Have experience in insurance litigation, transport, marine, aviation, trade or general commercial disputes

• Possess strong drafting, file management and advocacy skills

• Be client-centric, commercially minded, adaptable and able to hit the ground running
