About the Role
Our Client is seeking a highly experienced Legal Projects Manager to join its Legal Operations team in EMEA. This role is ideal for a professional with at least 6 years’ experience in Outside Counsel Management, Vendor Management, Law Firm Pricing, and Legal Project Management within the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities
You will support the Legal Operations Manager, EMEA Lead, with:
- Managing the end-to-end law firm panel selection process
- Conducting legal market analysis and benchmarking to support rate negotiations
- Drafting process documentation and training materials, and delivering training to EMEA Legal teams
- Embedding negotiated value-adds into business-as-usual operations
- Maintaining and updating internal platforms (Google Hub and SharePoint)
- Overseeing spend management, data tracking, and reporting to leadership
- Providing ad hoc support to meet stakeholder needs across Legal, Finance, and Communications teams
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience working in both in-house legal departments and law firms or legal consultancies within EMEA
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Legal Pricing, Sourcing, or Project Management
- Proven track record in designing and executing law firm panel processes
- Strong understanding of Alternative Fee Arrangements (AFAs) and experience negotiating them
- Technologically proficient, especially with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office (including SharePoint and Power BI)
- Demonstrated ability to implement operational improvements and solutions
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and build cross-functional relationships
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Previous experience working in a technology company
- Familiarity with PERSUIT or similar RFP platforms
- Experience with eBilling systems
- Knowledge of Tableau or other dashboarding tools
Location: London Office (Hybrid Working Available)
Contract Duration: 12 months
Working Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
