Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a junior detail-oriented professional to support a wealth planning legal function with a mix of project coordination, template development, stakeholder support, and regulatory monitoring. The role involves working across multiple workstreams with legal, tax, and wealth planning stakeholders, and contributing to strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support projects and initiatives, including developing, implementing, and maintaining:
    • Resource and document management databases
    • Legal templates and standard documentation
    • Guides, frameworks, playbooks, and process materials
    • Internal policies and new precedents aligned with business needs
  • Assist with the assessment and onboarding of complex wealth planning structures and transactions, such as trusts, family offices, philanthropic entities, and fund vehicles
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g. wealth planning teams, trustees) and external legal or tax advisors
  • Coordinate internal and external training sessions delivered by professionals for relevant business teams
  • Review, analyse, and comment on legal and tax opinions
  • Monitor regulatory and tax developments across key markets and prepare internal updates, summaries, or briefing materials.
  • Support strategic wealth planning initiatives by:
    • Managing project timelines, tracking progress, and following up with stakeholders
    • Maintaining and updating internal resource repositories
  • Undertake additional assignments as required.
Skills Required:
  • Experience in the private wealth or wealth planning space.
  • Legal background (including paralegal experience) STRONGLY preferred or training in accountancy preferred but not mandatory.
  • STEP qualification is advantageous.
  • Comfortable using AI and GenAI tools.
  • Proficient in managing resource or document databases.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and solution-focused.
