Public and Regulatory Lawyer – Leading City firm
We’re looking for a junior Public and Regulatory lawyer to join our client, a leading City law firm, to support them for at least 6 months.
You will be supporting the team with increased demand across public enquiries and regulatory matters for a minimum of 6 months. You’ll work closely with senior colleagues to support a broad range of public and regulatory work.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Advise on public law matters, including natural justice principles and relevant case law
Assist with public enquiries and regulatory investigations
Support public sector clients with a variety of operational and governance issues
Handle work for public bodies and other mission?focused organisations
About You
Ideally you will be:
A junior public and regulatory lawyer (approx. 1–3 PQE)
Experienced in acting for public bodies
Skilled in applying natural justice principles and public law frameworks
Comfortable handling complex public sector matters
Experience within public sector or in?house environments would be beneficial but not essential
Working Pattern
Full?time, 5 days per week
Initially 4 days per week based in the London office
This assignment is due to start as soon as possible and is expected to run for at least 6 months.
