We’re working with a leading ice cream company who require support from a Polish-qualified lawyer for the next 18 months.
Supporting the Polish and Baltic territories, the role will involve:
Leading all Customer Development and commercial contracting for Poland, including customer agreements, sales arrangements, rebate structures, and distribution contracts.
Providing expert guidance on competition law in an FMCG context to ensure compliant commercial strategies, trade terms, and rebate models.
Supporting the Baltics (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia) on CD and distribution-related legal matters, and coordinating with local external counsel where required.
Where possible, advising on market-entry and distributor arrangements, including drafting and negotiating distribution agreements for new or developing markets (EG, Ukraine).
Partnering with the Poland General Manager and leadership team, participating in leadership forums and shaping commercial decision-making.
Guiding the business on privacy considerations arising within commercial and customer contracts.
Handling basic marketing and claims queries and liaising with external counsel for more complex advertising/regulatory matters.
Providing limited employment-law support for factory-related issues and escalating specialist matters to external advisors as appropriate.
Skills required:
10 years+ experience working as a lawyer in Poland
Solid commercial contracts experience in FMCG context
Comfortable handling competition issues in relation to commercial contracts
Team player and collaborative
It’s a full-time role starting at the end of April, and ideally you’ll work 2 days per week from the Warsaw office.
