Corporate Lawyer (5–9 PQE)
6-Month Contract

We are working with a highly regarded organisation seeking an experienced Corporate Lawyer (5–9 PQE) for an initial 6 month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer to support a busy corporate practice, advising on a broad range of corporate transactions and strategic matters.

The Role:

• Advising on M&A, joint ventures, reorganisations and general corporate advisory work
• Drafting and negotiating transaction documentation
• Supporting senior stakeholders on complex corporate matters
• Working closely with internal teams and external advisers

About You:

• Qualified solicitor with 5–9 years’ post qualification experience
• Strong background in corporate law gained in private practice or in?house
• Able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
• Commercial, pragmatic and collaborative in approach

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Excellent technical legal skills
• Substantial experience working on complex cross-border corporate matters, ideally gained within an international in-house role 
• A strong understanding of business drivers and the legal, regulatory and commercial risks faced by large global organisations
• Self awareness and commitment to professional development
• Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively within a supportive team, while taking ownership of their own work
• Confidence in providing clear, pragmatic advice to stakeholders at all levels
• Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds
