Compliance and Investigations Lawyer – 6–12 Month Contract (Germany)
Start: ASAP | Location: Hamburg preferred (Augsburg or wider Germany could be considered) | Full?time
We’re looking for an experienced Compliance and Investigations Lawyer to provide immediate support to our client, a leading international business, within its German operations.

We’re looking for an experienced Compliance and Investigations Lawyer to provide immediate support to our client, a leading international business, within its German operations.
About the Role
You will lead and manage a high volume of compliance?related internal investigations across multiple sites in Germany, including:
- Running complex, end?to?end investigations
- Interviewing senior stakeholders across several business units
- Providing occasional compliance training
- Collaborating with cross?border colleagues where relevant
- Travelling to sites when in?person interviews are required
- A German qualified experienced Compliance and Investigations lawyer
- Strong background in internal investigations within large or complex organisations
- Compliance experience essential; aerospace/defence exposure would be beneficial
- Confident dealing with sensitive issues and senior stakeholders
- Ideally Hamburg?based (2 days per week on site), with flexibility for Augsburg or broader Germany
